We say this not just because ISO certification allows you to check a box on a customer qualification form, but because ISO should represent more than that. Sure, ISO 9001 means you’ve satisfied an auditor. Over 1.2 million companies worldwide can say that. But, especially in small companies, there is no spare time or budget available for any effort that doesn’t help set you apart in the eyes of your customers. If most of your competitors are already ISO certified, how does that set you apart?
That’s the fundamental question we are addressing with our new website and the small business support programs you’ll read about here. Sure, the update in 2015 will teach us some new things.
